The Identity Management & Access Control section is responsible for providing a centrally controlled and distributed enterprise-wide identity and access management capability that enhances the security of the departmental ICT environment, ensure the right staff have access to the right information at the right time to make the right decisions, that access to all departmental ICT resources is appropriately controlled, and individual users can be held accountable for all actions they undertake within the enterprise ICT environment.
The section supports and manages the access of over 30,000 internal and 21+ million external clients.

Our ideal candidate

Use of Identity Management tools including ISIM, Active Directory, Apache Directory Studio, Hyena, Mainframe (RACF and ACF2)

Create, update and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) designed to assist the team in the performance of their duties
-
Provide regular status and user reporting to the Team Lead.
Duties and responsibilities
-
Administer and resolve complex incidents assigned to the resolver group through the use of Service Manager, within the Operational Level Agreement (OLA)
-
Liaise with internal and external teams and clients to resolve project related queries and provide required support
-
Manage and maintain the mailbox, review and respond to the emails, follows up for the action items
-
Maintain the status of various projects by following up with the teams regarding the status and progress, update the relevant status and outcomes over the confluence site as required.
Additional information
Highly regarded:

Minimum of 2 years of experience as a support operator in one or more of following competencies

IBM Security Identity Manager / Tivoli Identity Manager
-
IBM Security Directory Server / IBM Tivoli Directory Server
-
Demonstrated analytical, fault diagnosis and problem-solving skills.

Eligibility
To be eligible for the position you must be an Australian Citizen.
The successful candidate will be required to obtain and maintain a Baseline Vetting (AGSVA) security clearance, and:
- ABF Workers will also be required to obtain and maintain an Employment Suitability Clearance (ESC).
- Home Affairs Workers will also be required to obtain and maintain an Onboarding Check.
In certain circumstances, an Employment Suitability Clearance (ESC) may be required in addition to, or in lieu of, an Onboarding Check, which will be determined by the delegate as necessary.
