Overview of the Branch and Section
The Digital Delivery Branch (DDB) is responsible for the oversight and governance of Info/Comm Tech (ICT) programs that enable digital transformation within the Department. The Branch stewards and supports the Government's digital agenda, including enabling Digital Service Standards and supports the Division to realise the ICT strategic agenda. DDB is the central engagement point for the Permissions Capability Program Technology Sub-program. Services within the Branch also include the development of mobile applications and support for the Department's online channels.
The Technical Web Services Section (TWS) provides development, enhancement and production support to all Department of Home Affairs online channels including internet, intranet, extranet, portals/apps and collaboration sites.
The Section includes a user engagement and delivery function, development and testing in Microsoft technologies (SharePoint, .NET and Dynamics CRM), web administration, production and incident support as well as project support for web-related projects.
TWS also provides technical system support for Resolve Enterprise and system support for Robotics Process Automation.
About the role
The Microsoft CRM team lead will be required to provide both technical and functional knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics CRM, provide technical solutions in accordance with best practices. The Team Lead will be responsible for the management of BAU and project workload to meet business requirements.

Duties and responsibilities
- Defining technical solution design for Microsoft Dynamics 365
- Provide both technical and functional knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365
- Design and develop modifications or extensions to the standard Microsoft Dynamics 365 applications, unit testing, deployment and writing technical documentation
- Support system and acceptance testing
Additional information
- Being a lead or having a senior development role providing technical and/or BAU support in Microsoft CRM 365 and previous versions.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 development using C#, SQL, JavaScript, and HTML
- Proven experience in developing Dynamics 365 custom workflows, plug-in creation, and creation of custom integration solution with third-party vendors.
- Experience with system integration and data migration
- Good knowledge of Visual Studio, DevOps
- Strong knowledge of relevant best practices, standards, and frameworks
- High level of experience with version control management using GIT
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate and negotiate across levels and technical backgrounds
- Undertake work with an awareness of potential strategic, political and operational impacts.

To be eligible for the position you must be an Australian Citizen.
The successful candidate will be required to obtain and maintain a Negative Vetting Level 1 (AGSVA) security clearance and an Employment Suitability Clearance (ESC).
