Our ideal candidate

 

  • Extensive System Administration Experience: Over 5 years of experience in system administration, specifically with Content Manager or TRIM
  • Proficiency in Programming/Scripting: Strong skills in one or more programming/scripting languages, such as PowerShell or .Net, to ensure seamless integration and automation
  • Expertise in Windows Server Operations: In-depth knowledge of Windows Server technologies, including IIS and system logs, to maintain and optimise system performance
  • Database Management Skills: Ability to run and manage database SQL queries to ensure data integrity and support application functionality
  • Incident and Problem Resolution: Proven experience in monitoring, investigating, and resolving complex incidents and problems, providing strategic advice and technical support to maintain system reliability.

 

Duties and responsibilities

 

  • System Operations: Utilise Windows Server technologies, including PowerShell and IIS, to maintain and optimise system operations
  • Database Management: Run and manage SQL queries to ensure data integrity and support application functionality
  • Application Support: Assist with the design, procurement, installation, upgrade, operation, control, maintenance, and effective use of IT infrastructure components while monitoring performance
  • Incident and Problem Resolution: Monitor, investigate, and resolve complex incidents and problems in Content Manager, providing strategic advice and technical support
  • Documentation and Procedures: Draft and maintain procedures and documentation for application support, manage application enhancements, and advise on application security, licensing, upgrades, backup, and disaster recovery needs.

 

Additional information

 

Mandatory

  • 5+ years of System Administration experience in Content Manager or TRIM
  • Proficiency and experience in one or more programming\scripting languages (for example: PowerShell, .Net etc.)
  • Expertise in Windows server operations
  • Industrial ICT experience of working in large organisations with complex infrastructure.

 

Desirable

  • Tertiary qualifications in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems Management, or a related discipline
  • Understanding of ITIL principles
  • Experience in NET/.NET development, TRIM SDK
  • Expereince in SOAP\REST API
  • Experience in Windows PowerShell
  • Expertise in Visual Studio or SQL Query.

Eligibility

 

To be eligible for the position you must be an Australian Citizen.

 

The successful candidate will be required to obtain and maintain a Baseline Vetting (AGSVA) security clearance, and:
 

  • ABF Workers will also be required to obtain and maintain an Employment Suitability Clearance (ESC).
  • Home Affairs Workers will also be required to obtain and maintain an Onboarding Check.
     

In certain circumstances, an Employment Suitability Clearance (ESC) may be required in addition to, or in lieu of, an Onboarding Check, which will be determined by the delegate as necessary.
