The CISG PMO leads and supports the best practice project and program management in CISG.
- Plays a pivotal role in guiding and supporting business units manage the investment process, strategic alignment, prioritisation and selection, progress tracking and monitoring for all ICT projects
- Establish a centre of technical and program expertise to provide mentorship, guidance and leadership to project teams within the CISG
- Effective oversight and monitoring of funding allocated (actual and forecast) for all projects
- Establish and conduct high level analysis of Branch and CISG projects and sub-programs to identify cross-project linkages, dependencies, shared risks and issues, and insights to minimise any disruptions
- Implement first level of assurance in projects leading to minimal risks and issues in their delivery
- Collaboration with project teams to transparently define and monitor business benefits and support their realisation after implementing the changes in existing systems and after delivering the new capabilities.

Duties and responsibilities
The Assistant Director, CISG PMO will work closely with the Director on program and projects delivery across the CISG.
List of core duties, responsibilities and outcomes for the position include:
- Coordinate and manage the quality assurance for projects including monthly check-in with project managers
- Provide written and verbal briefings to Executives on program assurance and governance findings
- Develop and manage key relationships with representatives from Major Capability Division, ICT Division, Finance Division, project and program areas, business areas, service providers and internal and external stakeholders, promoting the Branch's business objectives
- Development of briefs, talking points and other materials for the senior executive
- Work closely with the other teams across the Branch, Division and the Group to ensure consistency and alignment of work.
Additional information
- Assist Director in submitting monthly program reports
- Effectively manage the monthly CISG Program Board meetings from end to end.

Eligibility
To be eligible for the position you must be an Australian Citizen.
The successful candidate will be required to obtain and maintain a Negative Vetting Level 1 (AGSVA) security clearance, and:
- ABF Workers will also be required to obtain and maintain an Employment Suitability Clearance (ESC).
- Home Affairs Workers will also be required to obtain and maintain an Onboarding Check.
In certain circumstances, an Employment Suitability Clearance (ESC) may be required in addition to, or in lieu of, an Onboarding Check, which will be determined by the delegate as necessary.
