The Entry Programs team is responsible for the recruitment and delivery of talent pipelines though entry-level programs and other supportive functions, these include:

  • Development and delivery of the Graduate Development Program and providing ongoing support to graduates
  • Managing internship, apprenticeship and First Nation employment programs, networks and initiatives including coordination and support of participants
  • The design and development of new entry level initiatives which support the Department's attraction, recruitment and retention strategies.

Duties and responsibilities

 

  • Contribute to the design, development and implementation of entry level programs including coordination of marketing, promotional materials, recruitment and onboarding into our entry programs
  • Provide support to supervisors, staff, graduates and the executive participating in and overseeing our programs
  • Plan events and facilitate various meetings and presentations.
  • Communicate with and provide advice and recommendations to a wide variety of stakeholders on moderately complex to complex issues
  • Update and maintain personnel and Departmental records as appropriate.

Eligibility

 

To be eligible for the position you must be an Australian Citizen.

 

The successful candidate will be required to obtain and maintain a Baseline Vetting (AGSVA) security clearance, and:
 

  • ABF Workers will also be required to obtain and maintain an Employment Suitability Clearance (ESC).
  • Home Affairs Workers will also be required to obtain and maintain an Onboarding Check.
     

In certain circumstances, an Employment Suitability Clearance (ESC) may be required in addition to, or in lieu of, an Onboarding Check, which will be determined by the delegate as necessary.
