About our team
Regional Operations | Ac North & Detention | Chief Superintendent Ops Nt | Aviation Operations
Operations NT, within North Division is responsible for operations in the Northern Territory. This includes headquarters in Darwin and Gove District Office.
The operational remit for Operations NT, encompasses trade and traveller facilitation and intervention, and enforcement activities including border operations, planning operations and response operations.

Duties and responsibilities
-
Lead a high performing team, ensuring team members are valued, engaged, developed and challenged

Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships and negotiate positive outcomes with other regional commands and other relevant ABF internal stakeholders as well as stakeholders in the Department of Home Affairs, other Government agencies and industry

Represent the ABF at high level industry and community forums

Maintain awareness of border threats and effectiveness of border controls relating to all operational environments
-
Provide advice on and prepare correspondence and briefing materials for the executive.

Eligibility
To be eligible for the position you must be an Australian Citizen.
The successful candidate will be required to obtain and maintain a Baseline Vetting (AGSVA) security clearance and an Employment Suitability Clearance (ESC).
