Who can apply
The Department of Home Affairs SES Band 1, Band 2 and Band 3 non-ongoing Register is open to current APS employees as well as members of the community to register their interest in upcoming SES Band 1, Band 2 and Band 3 opportunities.
The register enables us to access potential candidates with relevant experience at short notice for non-ongoing vacancies. Non-ongoing employment opportunities may be offered on a full-time or part-time basis depending on business needs and requirements.
Non-ongoing opportunities may be offered for an initial period of up to 12 months, with the possibility to extend for a total maximum period of 3 years.

Eligibility
To be eligible for the position you must be an Australian Citizen.
The successful SES Band 1 and Band 2 candidate will be required to obtain and maintain a Negative Vetting Level 2 (AGSVA) security clearance and an Employment Suitability Clearance (ESC).
The successful SES Band 3 candidate will be required to obtain and maintain a Positive Vetting (AGSVA) security clearance and an Employment Suitability Clearance (ESC).

The Department of Home Affairs offers an attractive remuneration package, including salary, superannuation benefits and flexible working conditions appropriate to the level of the position.
