Cyber & Infrastructure Security | Cyber & Infra Security Centre | Critical Infra Reg Ops & Analysis | Critical Infrastructure Security Compliance
Compliance Operational Policy and Advice Team provides operational policy advice to industry regarding the Security of Critical Infrastructure Act 2018 (SOCI Act). It will also conduct and undertake projects focusing on the SOCI regulatory framework including the development of working relationships with other regulators.

Our ideal candidate
- Review and approve daily MCIR notification emails to CISC Executive
- Lead internal and external meetings to promote the interests of the CISG, including collaborating to develop comprehensive and appropriate responses to operational policy matters
- Manage key projects and tasks, including keeping Executive informed of progress
- Provide mentorship and guidance to staff to support their career development
- Develop, review and refine written products including: complex query responses; key internal reports; SOCI Act information disclosure decision minutes; and industry meeting briefs and presentations.
Duties and responsibilities
- Provides mentorship to staff where required whether it is project assignments, training and career development
- Develop, review and refine high-level of written products but not limited to (SES cleared documents, policy updates, Security Compliance monthly report, Senior Executive Service decision minute approvals and industry presentations)
- Lead internal and external meetings to promote the interests of the CISG
- Undertakes ad-hoc tasks suitable at level.

Eligibility
To be eligible for the position you must be an Australian Citizen.
The successful candidate will be required to obtain and maintain a Negative Vetting Level 1 (AGSVA) security clearance, and:
- ABF Workers will also be required to obtain and maintain an Employment Suitability Clearance (ESC).
- Home Affairs Workers will also be required to obtain and maintain an Onboarding Check.
In certain circumstances, an Employment Suitability Clearance (ESC) may be required in addition to, or in lieu of, an Onboarding Check, which will be determined by the delegate as necessary.
