CMSB operates in a complex, challenging and changing environment that is characterised by a continual high tempo of civil maritime operations.
Within CMSB the Large Hull and Small Vessel (LHSV) In-Service Support (ISS) Section is responsible for the provision of maintenance and support arrangements delivered through sustainment contracts for four large hull vessels (Ocean Shield, Thaiyak, two Bay Class vessels) and 33 small vessels. This includes ensuring that planned and emergent maintenance activities are completed to budgetary and operational requirements and in accordance with the overarching technical and regulatory framework.
