Chief Operating Officer Group | Digital Delivery Services | Corporate & Case Systems | Corporate Digital Collaboration Systems Section
The Corporate Digital Collaboration Systems (CDCS) Section provides a comprehensive suite of ICT services to Department of Home Affairs staff, both domestically and internationally.
The CDCS Section oversees the management and support of the department's digital collaboration tools, which include messaging platforms such as Microsoft Exchange and Lotus Notes; collaboration environments including Microsoft Office 365 and SharePoint; assistive technologies; print and remote access services; mobile device management; and unified communications solutions, encompassing video conferencing and digital signage.
Additionally, the Section is responsible for the Evoko booking system, OurTV, AV Video Matrix, Standard and Managed Operating Environments (including upgrades), and actively participates as a stakeholder in desktop refresh initiatives.

Our ideal candidates for the two APS 4 positions one (1) Junior M365 Teams SharePoint and one (1) Operations Delivery Coordinator will bring a solid understanding of collaboration technologies and a passion for enabling digital transformation. They should be confident in resolving technical issues with efficiency and clarity. With a service-oriented mindset and strong interpersonal skills, they will engage with business areas to promote best practices and contribute to user training.
Working relationships will play a key role, supporting others, sharing knowledge, and helping to build a positive, collaborative work culture. A keen eye for detail, proactive problem-solving and adaptability in dynamic environments are essential. These two roles demand a collaborative mindset and the ability to turn technical and operational needs into practical outcomes.
Duties and responsibilities
- Providing Level 3 support for the Department's Microsoft SharePoint, Teams and related 365 platform service functions
- Resolving and responding to Level 3 queries and issues by undertaking technical analysis
- Escalation of unresolved issues to the vendor resolver group, and senior team members.
- Resolving and responding to M365 and SharePoint queries and issues by undertaking technical analysis
- Ensuring Knowledge Base Articles and Standard Operating Procedure documentation is kept relevant and accurate
- Supporting and advising end users and Level 2 team by providing advice and support to their queries
- Ensuring tickets and queries to the group queues and mailboxes are answered within an appropriate timeframe
- Maintain internal and external relationships with IT Service Desk, team members, analysts, agencies, tech stakeholders, and business owners.
- Develop and assist with standard operating procedures and governance documents.

Eligibility
To be eligible for the position you must be an Australian Citizen.
The successful candidate will be required to obtain and maintain a Negative Vetting Level 1 (AGSVA) security clearance, and:
- ABF Workers will also be required to obtain and maintain an Employment Suitability Clearance (ESC).
- Home Affairs Workers will also be required to obtain and maintain an Onboarding Check.
In certain circumstances, an Employment Suitability Clearance (ESC) may be required in addition to, or in lieu of, an Onboarding Check, which will be determined by the delegate as necessary.
