Chief Operating Officer | Enterprise Technology Services | Technology Operations & Support | Infrastructure Service Engagement
The Infrastructure Service Engagement section sits within the Technology Operations and Support Branch of the Chief operating officer group, Enterprise Technology Services division.
We act as the front door for how our business areas engage with the branch to access ICT infrastructure services and technology delivery. Our team plays a key role in connecting internal clients with the right technical capabilities and ensuring project request are well scoped, prioritises and supported from initiation through to delivery.
Working closely with the Infrastructure Project Delivery section and other technical specialists across the division, we provide oversight and coordination to enable effective planning, resource allocation and project execution. Our Focus on fostering strong relations, improving engagement pathways, and supporting consistent and transparent project managing practices across the Department.

We are seeking an organised and proactive Project Coordinator who thrives in a dynamic ICT project environment.
Our ideal candidate will demonstrate:
- Strong organisational and coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and competing deadlines
- Experience with Enterprise Project Management Systems (EPMS) and proficient in managing project schedules, deliverables, and documentation
- Clear confident and professional communication, both written and verbal, to support stakeholder engagement
- A collaborative mindset, with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team as independently when required
- Foundational understanding of project management frameworks such as Prince2, Agile or waterfall, or a willingness to learn and develop in these areas.
The role would suite someone who enjoys combining structure and initiative, thrives in a busy environment and is motivated to support the team achieve its goals.
Duties and responsibilities
As the Project Coordinator, you will:
- Contribute to the coordination and delivery of ICT projects within the TOS Branch
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of project documentation, reports, and registers to support effective project governance
- Support project governance and assurance activities by helping ensure compliance with PMO frameworks, templates, and reporting standards
- Coordinate and provide administrative support for project meetings, resource planning, procurement processes for the project team
- Assist with financial tracking, forecasting, and contract management process to maintain oversight of project performance and expenditure
- Support communication with stakeholders to ensure project requirements are clearly understood and met
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of project governance and assurance activates.

Eligibility
To be eligible for the position you must be an Australian Citizen.
The successful candidate will be required to obtain and maintain a Negative Vetting Level 1 (AGSVA) security clearance, and:
- ABF Workers will also be required to obtain and maintain an Employment Suitability Clearance (ESC).
- Home Affairs Workers will also be required to obtain and maintain an Onboarding Check.
In certain circumstances, an Employment Suitability Clearance (ESC) may be required in addition to, or in lieu of, an Onboarding Check, which will be determined by the delegate as necessary.
