Group Manager Legal | Group Manager Legal | Legal Strategy & Services | Practice Management Support
Practice Management Support Section sits within the Legal Strategy and Services Branch and is responsible for a variety of administrative tasks including receiving and processing subpoenas on behalf of the Department. The team assesses the subpoenas, identifies the records that fall within their scope and produces the records to the issuing court or tribunal in accordance with the mandated timeframes.

Duties and responsibilities
- Identify departmental records that fall within the scope of a subpoena
- Identify records that may attract privilege claims
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders
- Return relevant records to the courts within the return date
- Work collaboratively with other team members

Eligibility
To be eligible for the position you must be an Australian Citizen.
The successful candidate will be required to obtain and maintain a Baseline Vetting (AGSVA) security clearance, and:
- ABF Workers will also be required to obtain and maintain an Employment Suitability Clearance (ESC).
- Home Affairs Workers will also be required to obtain and maintain an Onboarding Check.
In certain circumstances, an Employment Suitability Clearance (ESC) may be required in addition to, or in lieu of, an Onboarding Check, which will be determined by the delegate as necessary.
