About our team
National Operations | Customs Compliance Enforce & Target | Illicit Tobacco & Vape Enforcement | Vapes and Tobacco Operations and Coordination
The Vape and Tobacco Operations and Coordination (VTOC) was established to provide the strategic, operational and tactical oversight of cross jurisdictional health, whole of government and intra-agency coordination of compliance activities that combat illicit tobacco and vapes. It works alongside the Australian Border Force (ABF) Illicit Tobacco Taskforce, which is focussed specifically on the intersection of illicit tobacco with serious organised crime.
VTOC engages with key internal, external and offshore stakeholders to ensure available ABF capacity and capability is effective at combatting illicit tobacco and vapes.
